The Northern Stanley Building, King’s Cross

The Northern Stanley Building is a Grade II listed nineteenth-century philanthropic housing block, formerly one of five. The building was recorded to English Heritage Level 4 standard. As site supervisor, I led a team of four buildings archaeologists, producing plans, sections, detail drawings and written room descriptions. I also researched and wrote the final report, provided below (with thanks to Gary Brown of Pre-Construct Archaeology for permission to reproduce).
